Digitalo Kassa: ordering and a till in one
For restaurants and food trucks. The guest orders by phone or at a kiosk, the kitchen sees the order, the screen calls the number, and every sale is signed as in a cash register.
Being tested. A pilot is planned for March 2027. No real sales go through it yet.
The problem
A restaurant with food trucks often has one app for ordering, one for delivery, a till and a kitchen screen. All from different suppliers.
The figures must then agree with each other and with the bank. That is where the gaps appear.
How it works
- Step 1The guest orders by phone, at a kiosk or at the till.
- Step 2The VAT is checked. If a rate is missing the sale stops.
- Step 3The sale is signed in the same step. No signature means no receipt.
- Step 4The kitchen gets the order, and the screen calls the number.
- Step 5The daily report agrees with the payments.
What gets better
No gaps
Receipt numbers follow each other, even with 50 sales at once.
Nothing can change
What has been recorded can be neither changed nor deleted.
VAT signed off
The VAT table is approved by Digitalo Ekonomi.
Each truck on its own
Every order carries its place, so each food truck gets its own result.
Where it stands
- Receipts signed in the test environment
- October 2026
- Test day with 40 sales
- about 50 seconds
- Automated tests
- 1,137
- Pilot
- planned March 2027
The idea behind it
The sale should be right already at the till. Then the bookkeeping is a reconciliation, not a puzzle. More at Digitalo Ekonomi (in Swedish)
