The logo

The word digitalo, where the dots over the i's are two pixels. They have the same shape as the hole in the o, and they take the colour of the client on the screen.

Press a client. On the site the pixels change colour by themselves as you scroll past the clients.

Why pixels

A website is pixels, and the pixels are the only part of the mark that changes colour. The word stands still in black; the pixels show who we are building for right now.

The dots are not round. They are squares with the same soft corners as the hole in the o, so they belong to the letters and not to a generic icon. The typeface is Funnel Display ExtraBold, drawn as outlines.

What we left out

The full stop

The word with a coloured full stop after it. It was the favourite at first, but a bold lower-case word with a coloured full stop at the end is Fiverr's logo.

The line and the frame

A line that splits the word into before and after, and the word in a frame. The line grew weak at small sizes, and the frame looked like many others.

A chameleon

Too literal, and an animal says nothing about websites.

A browser window or a screen

The industry's most common symbol.

A sun over the horizon

It belongs to Akhiles' proposal Mosem.

Moving hyphens

That is Digitalo Ekonomi's logo.
